Participatory workshop tool
Interactive ICRA tool to collect votes in workshops and prioritise benefits, drawbacks and indicators.
The challenge
In ICRA's participatory workshops, attendees rate the benefits and drawbacks of different solutions for the city. The team needed a tool to enter votes live and quickly see which aspects were the priority and which indicators could measure them.
What I did
- It was a one-off commission: I built a web app with Nuxt 3, Pinia and Tailwind CSS.
- Benefits are grouped into environmental and socio-economic, with drawbacks listed separately. Votes are entered for each one, and custom fields can be added during the workshop.
- With one click, the tool ranks the 10 most-voted aspects and shows their related indicators in charts.
- Indicators and their relationships are loaded from CSV files prepared by the research team, so they can be updated without touching the code.
Outcome
It was a private tool built for the ICRA team, refined over time with feedback from the workshops.
