Hostal Bartis

Website for a family-run hostel to showcase its rooms and services and receive booking requests.

The challenge

A family-run hostel needed a website that conveyed the feel of the place, showcased its rooms and services, and let it receive booking requests directly instead of relying only on booking platforms.

What I did

  • I designed and built the site with Laravel and Bootstrap, fully mobile-friendly.
  • I built it on my own CMS so the owners could update texts, photos and rooms from an admin panel.
  • Content was available in Catalan, Spanish and English, with foreign visitors in mind.
  • I added a contact and booking request form.

Outcome

The site was online from 2020 until recently, and throughout that time the owners managed its content on their own.
