David Crous

This very website: static, in three languages and hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

The challenge

My previous website depended on a CMS with a server and a database. I wanted something faster, easier to maintain and free to keep online.

What I did

  • I redesigned and rebuilt it from scratch with Nuxt 3, Tailwind 4 and Nuxt Content, with all content in Markdown files.
  • Every page is generated as static HTML, in Catalan, Spanish and English.
  • It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages: it publishes automatically with every change and measures visits without cookies.
  • It has per-language SEO (hreflang, sitemap and Schema.org) and a hero with an interactive particle animation.
